Hello, I am Daisy and I am the owner of Sewing The Thing.
As a youngster, I loved spending time with my grandmother. She was always so full of life and would tell me stories about her days as a seamstress. She showed me how to sew and soon, I was creating my own designs.
I loved the feeling of taking fabric and turning it into something beautiful. It was like I could create anything I wanted. So, when my grandmother passed away, I decided to start a website where I could share the knowledge she taught me with others.
Now, years later, I’m still sewing in my spare time and love daydreaming about buying every machine out there so I can put together the most amazing sewing room and keep sharing my tips with the world. I truly hope my many hours of research are of help to you.
